This is a comparison between the 300MWe BWRX-300 small modular [fission] reactor (SMR), and the equivalent amounts of solar and wind power. The goal was to show the promise that high energy density sources like fission and fusion have, in terms of potentially becoming economical and effective pathways to decarbonisation. The comparison was made using OpenSCAD, a parametric script-based CAD program, hence the low-poly artstyle.
